Ancient sounds fill the room and touch the hearts as TREFOIL, a high-energy trio, plays traditional and contemporary music from Ireland, England, Scotland, Brittany, and the US. A solid guitar backs uilleann pipes, wooden flute, whistles, and button accordion, featuring Jim Groth, Carol Skallerud, and Jill Groth, all vocalists as well.
Among Trefoil's performances are South Dakota Public Broadcasting's Deadwood Songbook, Dakota Gathering of the Clans, and the Friends of Traditional Music Irish Night. With a love to entertain, Trefoil performs concerts, festivals, pub gigs, weddings, ceilis, any occasions and events.
